The paradox of the online opportunity

It is the very opportunity that we all love about online business that actually becomes the very enemy of achievement.  Or to put it another way, the greatest blessing is also the greatest curse.

The thing that attracts so many people to the possibility of making money online is the accessibility and affordability of it. It is relatively so inexpensive to get started.

But here also is the problem; the reason why so many do not succeed.  If you started an offline “brick & mortar” business, you would have to pour in a significant financial investment. That commitment in itself would tend to keep you focused.

When you’re in the low-cost startup of an internet venture, you can easily find yourself laying down one idea or plan for another very quickly when the going is slow.  I think many of the people I chat with online must be suffering from a kind of “whiplash” by now, because they change directions so very often.  No wonder they don’t see any great success.

A Point to Ponder: Better is one good idea followed through on, than many brilliant ideas attempted but abandoned.

Does the venture you’re working on right now have potential? Then discipline yourself to stop looking at other opportunities, and persevere to success!
