How many sales pages written to sell online products have you visited that have those impressive sounding guarantees. Right there at the bottom, right near the “Buy Now” button: “60 Day Money Back Guarantee”. Or even 90 days. Wow! They’re really standing behind their product. What if everyone takes them up on that? Won’t they be in trouble? Maybe they should reconsider such a foolhardy offer!
Actually, I think they definitely SHOULD ditch the 60 Day guarantee … and replace it with a LIFETIME Guarantee.
What? Are you out of your mind?
Why do some of the largest and most successful sellers in the USA offer Lifetime Return Policies? Big companies with sharp marketing departments. Costco. LL Bean. We could name scores of them. Aren’t they afraid of being taken advantage of? Of going bankrupt? Why do they take the risk?
In life, so often the difference between the exhiliration of success and the disappointment of failure doesn’t come down to great U-turns or momentous decisions, but small extra efforts and tiny (but crucial) actions. The one extra degree of heat!
Build a completely original and unique website in 3 easy steps?
We’re just about a week away from the big launch day of a really cool product. And once again it’s from the stable of John Thornhill (along with partner Dave Nicholson).
What’s it all about?
Well it’s good news for anyone looking to build their own website because let me tell you this is so simple a 7 year old can do it. If you have tried to create a professional looking website of your own but fallen short, Multi Profit Websites is the solution.
John and Dave have been allowing behind the scenes access to test drive the software.
I shouldn’t have to tell you what the law is … all together now … “The money’s in the list!”
Let me ask you the question that will reveal how serious you are about that law: Is every activity you’re doing in your online business building your email subscriber list?
I mean EVERY activity.
You might be able to answer that question without any pause, because listbuilding is either not on your radar or it’s down your list of priorities. So you’re doing a lot of things every day to try and build an online business, but not the undisputed single most important thing.
OR perhaps you ARE building a list, but you’d have to sit and think for a minute about whether or not “every activity you’re doing” is working on that.
I don’t usually write blog posts to promote JV Giveaway Events. I have the Giveaway Events page, which is one of the most consistently visited pages on this blog, and so I leave it at that.
But today I had to highlight a particular event. Guido Nussbaum is “the Godfather of Giveaways”. Every time he launches one, it attracts HUGE attention and traffic, along with some of the biggest players in the business. His Halloween Giveaway has become an anticipated tradition each year.
If you contribute a gift to The Halloween Giveway, and do your best to promote the event, you WILL sign up a stack of subscribers to your list. In fact, if you don’t normally ever pay the optional “upgrade” fee on these events, I would suggest you really consider it for this one. It’ll drive your listing higher up the pages and MULTIPLY your optins.
You might have heard some buzz around Internet Marketing forums recently about this issue. Some are scoffing, suggesting that it’s all overblown and there’s nothing at all to be concerned about. Others, at the other end of the spectrum, are declaring the sky is falling.
What’s a balanced position, and how worried SHOULD we be?
From my own reading (remembering that I am not a lawyer, and this post should be taken as private opinion, not legal advice), I don’t think that there’s anything to be worried about at all … AS LONG as we are careful to act diligently, lawfully and ethically.
